Thomas Woodcock and Robin Ellis work at the intersection of architecture, exhibition, art and research.
Their collaborative practice moves through a range of scales and lines of investigation, extending from theoretical studies to demountable installations and permanent structures.
Based in Glasgow, Woodcock and Ellis have worked across the UK, USA and Canada as practitioners in architecture and design.
Thomas teaches the Final Design Thesis studio at the Mackintosh School of Architecture, Glasgow School of Art, where he also supervises research projects. Thomas has previously taught at Edinburgh School of Architecture & Landscape Architecture (ESALA), at the University of Edinburgh.
Robin has acted both as an invited critic at the Mackintosh School of Architecture, Glasgow School of Art and a Design Mentor for the Bachelor of Design Practice at the City of Glasgow College. She has also been a Design Judge for the Glasgow Institute of Architects. Robin was BCO’s Rising Star for Scotland in 2023.
